Job description
Job Purpose: Recruitment & Onboarding specialist role is responsible for all administrative and supporting operations related to candidate sourcing, screening, selection, and onboarding of new employees. In addition, supports the SSC Recruitment & On boarding T2 Lead and other HR SSC teams in the fulfillment of SSC HR initiatives.

Conducts the recruitment process operations with direction from the Recruitment & Onboarding T2 Lead
Uses various HR systems and tools, email and internet
Provides the following recruitment service activities:
Collects and screens applications
Manages and maintains job requisitions and applicant data base
Supports OpCo Recruiter in talent mining & research activities
Conducts phone interviews & tests
Schedules interviewers, including coordination with candidates and interviewers
Requests background and reference security checks
Prepares contract paperwork and new starter paperwork using defined templates
Sends soft/ hard copy files to local administrators
Works with Recruitment Centre of Competence for general process improvement or to resolve issues that cannot be resolved within SSC
Archives all candidates/documents and sends reject notifications as required
Responsible for achieving all personal performance targets set by Team Lead – linked to service targets. Conduct performance appraisals with Team Lead and take appropriate action.

Skills and Abilities
1-2 years of experience in a recruitment role
Bachelors education in Human Resources/Business administration or related field
Ability to successfully work independently and professionally in a complex environment
Must be a team player and actively network with peers
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Strong customer service communication skills (oral and written) are essential
Attention to detail and accuracy of information
International and cultural sensitivity and awareness
Continuous improvement mindset
Experience with HRIS (such as Oracle Fusion system) or Recruitment software
Personal computer skills, including MS Office, Good working knowledge of LinkedIn, and other online job search services
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English for SSC3 (Islamabad, Pakistan). English and Russian or French for SSC2 (Lviv, Ukraine)
